Tasting Notes

The second single block release of this wine from a fine vintage. The Shed Block has once again given our winemakers fruit with great purity of character and the opportunity to make a wine, which shows a true sense of place. Larger old oak maturation has ensured a true representation of Hunter Shiraz fruit character. Crystalline fruit purity driven by primary Cherry and ripe Raspberry aromatics set the tone for this wine. There is a subtle hint of Satsuma Plum and cinnamon adding complexity.
